Willie is Fine again

Bright and early Saturday morning – the sun just coming up over the mountains.

Willie is sitting out front with his innards  piled around him on the ground.
After the mechanic left yesterday afternoon to go to Tepic we didn’t see him until a few minutes ago. He says he got all the parts we need.
Putting it all back together with an audience.

Needless to say I didn't finish this yesterday – sorry – between watching the mechanic, testing out the car, entertaining Tom and my cold the day went by quickly.

First off Willie is just fine. He has a new water pump and all his parts are back together.

Cost about US$160. So he is happy now. He has 85000 miles plus all the miles we’ve towed him so guess he is entitled to a hiccup now and then. We even got him washed and waxed last night when we went into town to eat dinner.

We just have to make sure that we don’t talk about the truck when we are near him.

Both Tom and I have colds that seem to be progressing through the stages of sniffles to down right rough coughs. Bill is trying to avoid us as much as possible.

Going to go up to the restaurant and get this posted so another day doesn’t slip by.
Maybe I'll try to write more later about yesterday. Today we are going to the tiangas in Aticama and then for a ride to Santiago to see the big mural.
