Quiet Saturday

Hum…missed another day. We are doing so much nothing now it is hard to write about it all.

We are kind of just hunkered down passing time waiting for Tom to get here so we can run around like crazy for a week then get ready to head north. About all we did yesterday besides read and nap was go out to dinner at Panama. Then rode out towards the Centro Historico and then to the grocery store. Looking around Soriana – the grocery store – again I noticed even more of the new brand “Always Save” products such as chicken noodle soup, tomato soup and cream of mushroom soup. Even found Oscar Meyer wieners. Really catering to the gringo population. More so than WalMart does.

Yesterday I couldn’t remember exactly when we left here last year so I went back and was reading the blog for the month of March. A year ago today Bill had his surgery here. Boy – this has sure been a better year. Though it was fun riding the busses and pulmonias I wouldn’t want to do it again.

No plans for today again – the weather is perfect – not too hot and a breeze. And it got really cool last night.

Well crap! Literally.  Our little bird friend has been at it again. Bill has put plastic bags over the Alfa’s mirrors to keep the bird off – seems to be working. But he paid us back. We left the windows down in Willie so it wouldn’t be so hot inside when we wanted to go somewhere. Yep! Guess what the birdy did. Poor Willie – he got inside and left us a message. Unhappy Bill and unhappy Willie!
