First day home.

Both of us got a pretty good nights sleep last night – good to have him home and he is glad to be back in his own bed.

Taking it easy today. Went out for a short trip in Willie to go to the ATM machine and get our rent money. So we’ll probably be leaving here, Mazatlan, on or around April 23^rd. We don’t want to be on the roads during Easter Week – everyone is on vacation then. It’s from April 14 to 20^th. So that will give Bill a good amount of time to regain his strength and time to keep checking that the infection is GONE for good.

Napped during the hottest part of the day and then took a drive to WalMart for a few things we forgot to get yesterday. Bought a pineapple upside down cake, have no idea what it will taste like. It’s more like a bundt cake with pineapple and cherries on top. Then Bill went for a walk around the RV park and I just went looking for him…he is visiting with the only other person parked here in the back. Tomorrow we’ll venture out a little more.

Our poor little home town just finally got out from underneath the snow and now it is flooding there –been raining for four days with more rain to come. Several of the roads are closed due to high water. Been a rough few months there.

That is it for today – nothing exciting.
