Started this yesterday and never finished it. No reason,
just lazy and not much to write about.
We spent Monday morning doing going home errands: left
off the laundry to pick up later, refilled Bill’s prescriptions, went to Sam’s
Club to get a few things and picked up some gifts.
Checked in on the race every once in a while – Kyle
started 29th and ended up 3rd. Not a bad day.
When leaving to pick up the laundry we saw this guy
wandering around outside. He got a little upset that we were taking his
picture.
Started getting the Alfa ready for the trip home. Bill
put away all the stuff outside and took in the awning in preparation for
getting the rig washed today. Located the locking pins for the hitch for
Willie. Today I’ll start getting stuff inside ready for travel. Hope I remember
where everything goes.
We have to go to La Noria today to pick up some stuff we
left there with Roberto and then going out to dinner tonight with Angelica. Our
busiest day since Bill got out of hospital – so we’ll see how it goes.
We’ve decided to take the known way home. It is longer
but we know where we can stop in case he has overestimated his endurance. I’m
hoping our TelCel gigabits last us long enough to cross the border and that
then I can get the Verizon MiFi up and working again. The TV too.
Be safe!! We got home today around 3 and it is 13C a heat wave with sunshine. Not a bad way to arrive home.
ReplyDeleteSlow is smooth, smooth is fast. Take it as it comes, and you'll be home safe and sound soon enough.
