We have actually made reservations in Las Vegas. The TT is so small there better safe than sorry. We’ll be rolling in there Nov 7^th for two weeks – maybe…..

Today was Sprint Cup NASCAR race – lots of excitement. Well not a good race for Kyle Busch #18 the M & Ms car – second race in a row he got wrecked ‘cause he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. So he is pretty much out of the chase.

Now we’re watching a soccer game – Barcelona is having a great game. Messi made three goals – a Hat Trick – in the first 30 minutes of the game.

Other than that – haven’t done much except for three loads of laundry.

It’s funny when we travel and go grocery shopping. I have a whole stack of cards for different grocery stores all over the country. Found out yesterday that the Frys chain – here in Cottonwood – is a Kroger so I can use that card for the cheaper prices. Had red and yellow peppers for 88 cents each with the card.

West on the I-70

Sunday a.m.
We finally decided to continue to travel west on the I-70 through Saint Louis on towards Kansas City. But unlike previous years we are taking it easy. Our first campground choice is 150 miles away our second is 250 miles away. So we'll see where we end up. Both are this side (east) of Kansas City.
Today will be a nice day and hopefully the winds won't be bad. So far it is quiet out. Tomorrow there is a prediction for rain.
Boo Hoo! My favorite driver #18  Kyle Busch came in 2nd last night - he started last and lead the most laps so guess it was an okay night - but he is still 18 points behind the leader.
Actually fixed dinner last night - good chicken (cooked with Italian Dressing and Lemon Juice) and angle hair pasta with butter and garlic. We did eat off paper plates though -ugh!
This is a whole new way of travel for us [if we do it] starting late and not going too far.

Sunday evening

Another gloomy and rainy all day day. The Internet is so slow I don’t even know if I can publish this. Don’t know if it’s a Hughes.Net problem or the big storm system.
Slept late this morning because every time I opened my eyes it was dark out – so rolled over and went back to sleep. Finally looked at the clock and it was 9 o’clock!
Monday evening
Lost Internet service for entire day. Big rain storm moved through. Got a couple inches of rain.
Worked on my quilt yesterday got all the strips for the green blocks sewn together, next will be the yellows. Bill was working on building frames for his wood spirits and masks. And watched the race – didn’t turn out as well as the truck race – Kyle Busch the #18 came in 11th – needs to do better than that. At least he moved up a little in the points.
Went into town this morning for errands and breakfast. The Driver was looking for pretty feathers in Hobby Lobby. And lo and behold when we came out the SUN WAS SHINNING. Even having a pretty sunset tonight. But more rain expected tomorrow.
We have to go over to the RV doc tomorrow I really need my glasses and OMG I forgot my Jumbo Jelly Beans in the Alfa too. Need them.
