Early Saturday a.m.
Well we will be off in a few minutes. I’ll post after we get settled in in HuatabampitoYesterday morning’s sunrise.
We took a short jaunt into the Centro Historico just to walk around one last time and to check out the progress on the church. They are almost done with this side.
Here they are putting the finishing cement on and putting in the lines.
Drove back slowly along the Malecón. We will really miss this city. When we got back to the Alfa the guys were there washing it. Looks so much better and has layers of salt and sand washed off. Just hope it isn’t too windy and damp the next couple of days we’ll be spending on the beach in Huatabampito.
Angelica came over last night and brought us some bread pudding. YUM! And Roberto and his wife and son and brother came over to visit for a while. A busy evening.
A beautiful sunset to remember
Until next time....
See you in Huatabampito soon

ReplyDeleteI have so enjoyed your posts since George introduced you to his readers in Aticama. Safe travels homeward (to your other home...), and maybe one day our paths will cross out there somewhere. Many blessings to you both.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Carol - I have a honky-tonk band and a cajun band, and I only do the old stuff (as a solo and acoustic performer, I do a lot of songs that I've written - here's one I wrote, performed with the band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee-V6ENNh7s).
