Found a good restaurant in San Blas

Wednesday afternoon
After posting this morning we all piled in the Jeep and went into San Blas for breakfast. We went to Tradiciones, the little restaurant we found last night.
Had a very good breakfast. The inside of the restaurant. It is very small and simple.
I had French Toast, Bill had a ham and cheese omelet.
Here is the cook in the tiny kitchen preparing our meals.
All of us were pleased with our food. And will for sure return there again. Maybe tonight for dinner!
Next door to the restaurant was a place called Todo Pollo – Everything Chicken. As you can see it is a very small place all newly painted with two very friendly clerks.
They sold breaded chicken filets all ready to take home and fry, rolled chicken filets stuffed with cheese and covered with bacon. Just take it home and cook it. There was stir fry chicken with lots of vegetables – take it home and heat it. Also these neat potatoes and onion rings – they just need to be cooked.
Every thing a busy housewife needs for a quick dinner.
From there we headed up the highway to try to find the little town of Singayta. I’d read about it on the internet and thought it might be a neat place to visit. Their web page said they had a nursery that sold orchids and that the tourists could take boat rides into the mangroves and horse back rides. Well it seems that the web page is old and lack of tourists has changed everything.
More about Singayta and La Liberdad another small town in the hills.
